Komi German, B.A., is a second-year graduate student in the Social/Personality Psychology program at UCR. She graduated with Highest Honors from UC Davis, where she worked in a lab that examines people’s self-knowledge and volunteered in a lab that researches children’s prosocial development. As a graduate student at UCR, she is a member of two research labs, working collaboratively with Dr. Megan Robbins and Dr. Kate Sweeny to examine interpersonal processes involved in coping with uncertainty. Her research goal is to use longitudinal data, repeated measures, and observational coding to examine the interplay between social support and stress management. Outside of the lab, she loves to practice yoga, listen to TED talks, and watch comedy.
