Vanessa Delgadillo is a first-year graduate student in the Social/Personality Psychology program at UCR. Vanessa received her AA-T in psychology at San Bernardino Valley college in 2020 and B.A. in psychology at California Polytechnic University of Pomona in 2022. Vanessa's research interests are on impatience as an emotion and how mindfulness as a practice can mitigate its effects on well-being. Vanessa is inspired to find effective and easily accessible practices that reduce adverse effects of impatience in a world filled with constant uncertainty. When she's not watching random research podcasts, you can find Vanessa doing yoga at the park, at a paint and sip, or singing karaoke for her neighbors!
