The Life Events Lab primarily examines two broad questions. First, how do people cope with uncertain waiting periods? Second, how should doctors talk to their patients? We have studied law graduates awaiting news about the bar exam, patients awaiting biopsy results, researchers awaiting manuscript decisions, surgeons talking to their adult patients, and asthma specialists talking to pediatric patients, among many other studies. Please browse our site and contact us with any questions about the lab or our research.
